I have had many different styles of tequila and this one is definitely in the top 5. Ranks up there with Don Julio 1942 at a lower price. I had the Mexican version of this which is 38% Alc. content and has more nutty flavors on the front end and more vanilla on the back end. Do yourself a favor and try this. You won't regret it at all.

Lots of flavor aftertastes of honey, caramel and vanilla. Something to be enjoyed with good, (deserving), friends. Not a salt and lime shooter.

I love tequila, and I have had many touch my lips (yes, the top dollar ones), but this one is exquisite!! It goes down smooth, and the sweet taste at the end is the kicker!! I NEVER run out of this at my home "casa de G"

At a tasting on the way down to Pueblo Nuevo, I couldnt even finish my little sample. Way to sweet. On the other hand, the Cava de Oro Blanco was very flavorful for a blanco, and not sweetened as heavily as this one.

I am an extra anejo drinker and I thought I would give this a try based on the reviews. This is a liqueur best suited for people that do not appreciate true tequila taste as it is very sweet and full of cinnamon. Honestly to the point where it is not enjoyable for a tequila fanatic. If you like sweet liquors, get this and you will be happy. If you are a purist, move on and get something like Don Pilar, Crotalo, Pura Vida, Classe Azul, etc

Yes it is sweet and mild but very drinkable.

Funny how there is always the person or 2 out of the 16 comments already that just can't enjoy something for what it is, that someone says to themselves "wonder if this tequila is any good we'll have test to see if it is any good" unlike the other who says to themselves "I am going to enjoy drinking some tequila I have not enjoyed yet"
Will be back w/review of it's fine attributes after enjoying> Cava de Oro Extra Anejo Tequila, as soon as it get's here!
as to the above if you say to yourself I wont like this, then most likely you wont, DUH! if you say I going to enjoy this to yourself then you most likely will, because if it's bad and you chose to like it then no loss, it is bad throw it out because when something is bad even those who enjoy all, will agree it is bad if it is truly bad ,,,,,nuff sed! but if you no like something no need to try and get others, with your bad reviews, not liking it before they even try it base on your palate they may actually be influenced by your review even though they would've enjoyed said tequila they had had had had they not had your negativity thinking in the back of their mind bad reviews are not needed unless something is truly bad in the minds of the many
CHEW THAT ONE OVER IN YOUR MIND AFTER A GOOD SHOT OR TWO!!!

This tequila is fine if your looking for an after dinner liqueur. As a tequila, not so much. The die hard tequila drinkers out there even the extra anejo lovers will not likely enjoy this. The sweetness over powers everything not the least of which are the agave notes. I can see why beginners or people that like to call themselves tequila drinkers (because it's in style) like this juice........it's safe and gentle and leaves nothing to the imagination.

Silky smooth, drink anytime in small sips. I love offering to friends to see if can guess it is tequila. So far no one has. A very nice drink.

My husband and I thought the Don Julio Aniejo was the best ever - and then we went to a tequila tasting at a store in Cancun.... The Cava de Oro Extra Aniejo was THE BEST we have ever had! Trying to find a store back home was impossible, so we order it online now! No need to try others - this is the one for us!
